Description:

Toltrazuril is a new coccidicidal drug, from the group of symmetric triazinone, very effective for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis of all

stages of Eimeria spp in kids, lambs, piglets and poultry.

Indications:

For the treatment and control of coccidiosis in pigs, ruminants and poultry.

Eco Toltra 2,5% is active against a variety of coccidian parasites, which include Isospora and Eimeria spp., in various host species. It is especially indicated for use against neonatal Isospora suis coccidiosis in piglets.

Contra-indications:

After long-term treatment and high dosages crystalluria may occur.

Hypersensitivity to toltrazuril.

Administration to animals with impaired liver and/or renal function.

Side effects:

None.

For oral administration.

Kids and lambs     : 4.0 ml. per 5 kg. body weight through drinking water or milk once daily.

Piglets:                  : 2.0 ml. per 2.5 kg. body weight during first week of life between age 3 – 5 days. Only one treatment required.

Poultry                   : 500 - 1500 ml. per 500 litres drinking water during 2 days. (day dosage: 7.0 mg. per kg. body weight).

Note: Give the medicated drinking water as the only source of drinking water.

Do not give to egg producing poultry.

Withdrawal times

- For meat

  Kids and lambs   : 77 days.

  Piglets                  : 77 days.

  Poultry                 : 25 days.
